PEATLAND TRIP

Air Hitam Forest Reserve

The Air Hitam Forest Reserve is the last standing peat swamp forest in Southern Peninsula Malaysia. 2 hours away from Singapore, the reserve is surrounded by community plantations of rubber and pineapples. Our 2 day 1 night expedition will allow participants to learn about peatland conservation, plant trees, interact with a warm and hospitable community, ad we get to prevent haze at the same time.

Air Hitam Forest Reserve Area: 3,797 hectares
